The Classical Gazetteer by William Hazlit (1851). Scannd by Tim Spalding
Hazlitt’s The Classical Gazetteer is a valuable dictionary of some 15,000 classical places—famous, obscure and jaw-droppingly obscure. Of the latter, most are absent from the common classical dictionaries.
